In his earlier roles, Radhakrishnan has led several AI initiatives in GE and developed frameworks to complex real-world problems in Industrial Analytics (IoT). He had strong experience in building “Digital Twins” which are virtual models of industrial assets like Gas/Steam Turbines using massive time series datasets. Further, he is skilled at engineering Analytic solutions for ill defined and vague business and industrial problems.
Radhakrishnan has influenced several key business decisions through leadership skills and program management that contributed to the companies top and bottom line. He also led the Innovation and Product strategy for GE's Software and Computing R&D unit from Bangalore, India.
He advised on technology, business development and Intellectual Property strategies for Data Science/Analytics and IoT based, multi-Million dollar Technology R&D programs across GE Global Research in US, Germany and India. His most notable achievement being, receiving GE Management awards twice consecutively in 2013 and 2014 for recommending innovative technology, business and market strategies for GE's popular Cloud based Industrial Internet of Things platform popularly known as "Predix". He is a Certified Scrum Master and a Product Owner who believes in quick PoCs with usable Minimum Viable Products. Also Radhakrishnan Has 3 Patent publications to his credit.
Mahesh is a seasoned IT leader and entrepreneur with 20+ years of experience overseeing digital transformation for many Fortune 500 companies. He currently is the CEO of Xformics Inc, a company specializing in niche AI products and digital transformation across retail, healthcare, insurance and manufacturing domains. Mahesh also has acted as advisor for many startups as well as private investors and actively works with product companies with focus on building his vision of a seamless unified commerce.
Mahesh’s varied experience has enabled him to effectively bridge the roles of IT architecture and project management. He has overseen over 20 implementations of Omni Channel (eCommerce, Order management, Customer Management, Inventory and Warehouse Management) implementations at major Fortune-100 retailers as well as 3PL distribution companies. He has extensive experience and strong functional and technical background in Retail and Supply Chain solutions with expertise in order management and reverse logistics, retail operations, product catalogs, pricing and promotions, CRM, warehouse management, 3PL operations, carrier integration, associate mobile applications, store fulfillment, Point of Sale (POS) integration, inventory management, data and analytics, product management and SDLC. Some of the major transformations he led includes companies such as Lowes, Staples, Home Depot, Charter and others
In his prior role at Staples as Head of Omni Channel Strategy and Architecture,he worked closely with the CIO in establishing Omni organization within Staples encompassing both technology and business teams. According to him, “Omni is not just a channel (of order capture) concept, but an organization paradigm”. He worked on breaking the traditional silos within the organization, promoting cross business unit co-operation and innovation, integration between multiple systems, cross visibility of portfolios and key initiatives as well as harmonization of architectural ideologies and leading enterprise architecture (EA). He extended the Omni concept beyond traditional IT domain to promoting co-operation between CMO, Business and the IT heads. He oversaw the Omni transformation for Staples to enable these efficiencies, reduce cost of ownership while driving innovation and clarity of vision and execution.
Prior to that, he was an IBM Thought Leader and Open Group Distinguished IT Architect. During his stint with IBM lasting 14 years, he was an advisor to the product team and the chief architect for the professional services organization. He oversaw the development of Zero Downtime upgrade methodology, promulgated live testing paradigms in software development and was responsible to audit and turn around “red programs”. His achievements include turning around a $100MM and 300+ people project stagnating for nearly 2 years delivering 3 production releases in a year. In most of the client implementation, he has often led the client’s engineering, production support and deployment teams. He has also advised the business teams on process and strategy to gain competitive advantage.
